Let there be light: the combination of filament and vacuum is lighting
How does the light bulb work?
The bulb contains a filament. When current flows through this filament, the metal heats up and then glows, giving off light. Since the inside of the bulb is in a vacuum state, there is no oxygen to oxidize the filament, so it can be used for a long time.
